State commission confirms Rosneft gas field discovery in Arctic

MOSCOW, Dec 9 (PRIME) -- The state reserves commission has confirmed a discovery by oil major Rosneft of a gas field in the Kara Sea, its reserves amount to 800 billion cubic meters, the company said on Wednesday.

“The state reserves commission confirmed the discovery by Rosneft of a new Arctic gas field in the Kara Sea and recommended that Rosgeolfond put the field on state registration in the author's version with gas reserves of 800 billion cubic meters,” the statement said.
